Based in Geneva, the Frederique Constant watch company takes their Swiss heritage very seriously. Each Frederique Constant watch is hand - assembled, polished, and inspected by a watchmaker trained in Geneva or La Chaux-de-Fonds. Their watches include exclusively Swiss movements and are completely produced, checked, and constructed in a state-of-the-art facility in Geneva. A Frederique Constant watch must pass six quality control tests before being released for resale - a water resistance test, timekeeping accuracy in three different positions, discoloration, particle and scratch checks, a manual functionality test, a strong rotation force test, and a test involving a custom-made machine that simulates the movement of a wrist. Their watch designs include classic materials, such as gold, mother of pearl, and leather, and delicate details, such as skeleton cutouts, guilloche dials, and diamond indicies.
